   ����ֱ�� 2023 practical nursing graduate and Phoebe Sumter Medical Center medical surgical nurse Aderica Ross of Americus was named ‘Daisy of Day’ recently in honor of National Nurses Week.

   Ross was praised and nominated for this honor from a patient’s family member for her advocacy, attention to detail and compassion.  She is a December 2023 graduate from the SGTC Practical Nursing program and was pinned by her stepmother Donna Brown, LPN at the SGTC Pinning Ceremony.

   Phoebe Sumter had five local clergy members to join them for a special Blessing of the Hands Ceremony, offering prayers and support to their staff in honor of National Nurses Week and the Daisy of the Day recognition.

   Kelsey Reed, DNP, MHA, MSN, FNP-C, FACHDM and Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Phoebe Sumter Medical Center thanked Ross and the entire nursing staff for their commitment and care and for making a difference every day.
